Practical benefits and additional safety features of the Quick-On regulator
Very easy to connect and disconnect.
No tools required.
Guaranteed gas tight connection.
The gas tap of the gas bottle is automatically closed after disconnecting the shutter.
Flow limiter (EFV Excess Flow Valve): If, when using the regulator for some reason, the outflow of gas suddenly increases, the regulator will shut itself off. Only after the problem has been resolved, the regulator can be used again.
Thermal shut-off system (TSP Thermal Spindle Protection): When the temperature is extremely high, the gas supply will be automatically cut off.
Features of the Quick-On regulator
The Quick-On regulator has an output pressure of 37 mbar. It can therefore only be used with propane and is suitable for all devices operating at a low pressure of 37 mbar.
The maximum flow rate is 1.5 kg per hour. With this regulator you can feed devices with a power of 15 kWatt or less.
The Quick-On regulator can only be connected to a gas cylinder with a 27 mm diameter tap.
Connecting the Quick-On regulator to the gas cylinder
Before you click the regulator, make sure that the lever is in the correct position. The correct position means that the green part of the lever is visible. It is only in this position that the regulator can be connected to the valve.
GREEN = ok! Ready to be connected to the gas cylinder's stopcock.
Place the Quick-On regulator on the gas tap and press it firmly downwards. If you hear a clear click, the regulator is correctly attached. The regulator remains attached to the gas tap when you release it.
The regulator is ready for use. In this mode, no gas flows through the regulator.
Using the Quick-On regulator
After you have correctly clicked the regulator on the valve, the gas supply to your device can be opened.
To do so, slowly turn the black lever half a turn counter-clockwise. A red flame appears. The regulator is now in operation and gas is flowing through it. You can now start using your gas appliance.
RED = Regulator is effective in use.
If you do not succeed in turning the lever, the regulator is not properly engaged. Do not force it, but repeat the above and click the regulator correctly on the valve. Turning the lever to the green position shuts off the gas supply".
Disconnecting the Quick-On regulator from the gas cylinder
Turn the lever half a turn clockwise so that the green area is visible again.
The gas supply to your device is now cut off. It is only in this position that you can unlock the regulator.
Press the lever horizontally and at the same time, raise the regulator vertically.
You do not need to worry about the gas cylinder's gas stop, which closes automatically.
You can now easily connect your new gas cylinder with your Quick-On regulator.
The Quick-On regulator: practical and safe in its simplicity and use.
